Barcode Labeling
As part of the Business Process Modules applications, a barcode labeling solution may be required to provide barcode labels for finished goods, WIP, raw materials, assets and other goods that enter, leave and remain within the warehouse or production facility. Barcodes contain information used by the Business Process Module applications to identify the materials and goods. The barcode labels can be designed to the client's specific requirements, and can include descriptive text in addition to a barcode.
Barcode labeling applications can be designed as interactive PC workstation applications, wireless handheld applications, or batch print applications that request data directly from your ERP system or any database or flat file source.
Barcode Printers
Most barcode labels can be printed from a standard barcode printer, but some industrial labels and certain single label applications may require a special barcode printer. Also, in some cases, barcode labels can be printed from standard LaserJet and InkJet printers. Rockpile Solutions' GlyphStream EDS Solution uses carefully chosen third-party barcode label packages to provide flexible and portable design and print formats for the barcode labels.
