With the GlyphStream mobile client and data server applications, you can now access your enterprise data and submit transaction directly to your enterprise system from remote locations throughout your warehouse and production facility over a TCP/IP wired or wireless (RF) network, and remotely via the internet.

The GlyphStream mobile client is designed to allow for the fewest keystrokes to scan, collect or access data. For example, with one touch of a button, your automatic data collection device can scan a barcode, verify the inventory, or submit a receiving, inventory or picking transaction to the host ERP system.

Using native ERP technologies, the GlyphStream Enterprise Data Server submits transactions directly to your enterprise system. The GlyphStream Transaction Data Manager’s transaction queuing and record locking capabilities manage the use of multiple data collection devices accessing the host ERP system at the same time.

The GlyphStream Administrator application allows secure, browser-based access for viewing and managing your automatic data collection (ADC) environment including tracking and disposition functions for all transactions submitted from the mobile data collection devices to your host ERP system. The GlyphStream Administrator can be easily customized to fit the needs of your corporate ERP environment.

Fully Scalable to Grow with your Company
The GlyphStream EDS operates on a dedicated NT server or across multiple Windows NT servers on a distributed TCP/IP network. The modular design of the GlyphStream EDS provides a high degree of scalability which allows for heavy transaction volumes and many concurrent users per server.

Wireless and Remote Communications
The GlyphStream EDS operates over any wired or wireless (RF) TCP/IP network. An RF-based wireless network allows for real-time, mobile data exchange with the GlyphStream EDS in a localized environment. A TCP/IP wide-area network expands the reach of the GlyphStream EDS to the entire networked host ERP system, and remote access is available via the internet.

Secure Data Exchange
Encrypted messaging technology built into the GlyphStream EDS and enabled on the wireless (RF) network allows for secure transfer of data between mobile devices and your ERP system.
