National Manufacturing Tradeshow in Chicago

Rockpile Solutions demonstrated the GlyphStream Enterprise Data Server platform in the Cisco booth at the National Manufacturing Tradeshow in Chicago the week of March 3, 2003. Rockpile Solutions partnered with Cisco Systems, a Fortune 500 manufacturer of wireless and networking technology, and Hand Held Products, a premier vendor of imaging technology and barcode scanners, to demonstrate the applicability and usefulness of wireless RF networks extended throughout the warehouse and manufacturing floor.
Specifically, Rockpile Solutions demonstrated its Goods Receipt Business Process Module which seamlessly collected goods receipt data (e.g. raw materials from the receiving dock) and integrated it, in real time, into a live SAP R/3 system via the GlyphStream Enterprise Data Server. The Goods Receipt Business Process Module ran on multiple wireless (RF) Dolphin 7400 Windows CE imaging scanners provided by Hand Held Products with wireless communications equipment provided by Cisco Systems, including their AP-1200 802.11b wireless access point.
In addition to the Goods Receipt Business Process Module, Rockpile Solutions also has many other Business Process Modules in many other business categories which include Rockpile's Field Service, Inventory, Warehouse, Shop Floor Control, Plant Maintenance, Order Fulfillment, Retail and Goods and Asset Tracking product lines.
